'Taxi Driver' Premieres To Strong Ratings As 'Beyond Evil' Rises Ahead Of Finale

SBS’s new drama “Taxi Driver” is off to a promising start!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” tells the story of a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law. Lee Je Hoon stars in the drama as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for the service, while Esom plays passionate prosecutor Kang Ha Na, who begins to grow suspicious of both Kim Do Gi and the unusual taxi service.

According to Nielsen Korea, the April 9 premiere of “Taxi Driver” made a strong start with average nationwide ratings of 8.7 percent and 10.7 percent for its two parts.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Beyond Evil” enjoyed a slight increase in viewership ahead of its finale, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.4 percent for its penultimate episode.
