YG Entertainment Announces Global Auditions For New Boy Group

YG Entertainment has kicked off auditions for its next boy group!

On April 12, the agency officially announced that it has begun accepting online applications for a brand-new boy group. The application period is from April 12 to May 23, 2021, and the video audition period is from April 19 to May 30, 2021.

For its “2021 YG New Boy Group Audition at Home,” which is open to aspiring singers all over the world, any male born between 2002 and 2010 who is not currently affiliated with another agency is eligible to apply.

During the first step of its audition online, applicants are invited to fill out a brief form to choose their audition date and the language they want. The available languages are Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese. Then they will check the date and time of their audition in the application confirmation mail. The auditions will be held via Zoom, and the results will be announced on June 12, 2021. Only those who have passed the final around will receive a notification, and they will be given the opportunity to join YG’s new boy group debut team.
