Suzy And Shin Dong Yup To Host 57th Baeksang Arts Awards Again

Suzy and Shin Dong Yup will be hosts of the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards once again!

Shin Dong Yup was the MC for the Baeksang Arts Awards for three years in a row before taking a break in 2017. He resumed hosting the following year, and the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards marks his seventh total time as host of the awards show. Shin Dong Yup is a frequent host on TV shows as well as on live televised events, and he is also nominated for one of the variety categories at the ceremony this year.

This is Suzy’s sixth consecutive time hosting the Baeksang Arts Awards, and her fifth time hosting with Shin Dong Yup. Park Bo Gum also hosted the show with Shin Dong Yup and Suzy for three consecutive years, but the actor is currently completing his mandatory military service.

The 57th Baeksang Arts Awards will celebrate the accomplishments of broadcast, cable, and streaming TV content, as well as domestic films and theatrical productions, that were released between May 1, 2020 and April 11, 2021.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 13 in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, starting at 9 p.m. KST and running for three hours. It will be a live broadcast and take place without an audience due to COVID-19 restrictions.
