CJ ENM Shuts Down Stone Music Entertainment
Stone Music Entertainment has shut down.
On April 20, Sports Kyunghyang reported that Stone Music Entertainment applied to close its business on April 8, adding that a source related to CJ ENM stated, “CJ ENM is working on reorganizing its sub-labels for efficiency.”
In response, CJ ENM announced, “We have liquidated Stone Music. We have done so to heighten efficiency in management and provide more effective services to our artists. Stone Music will continue to operate as a music distribution brand.”
Artists managed by Stone Music Entertainment included g.o.d’s Son Ho Young, SG Wannabe’s Kim Yong Jun and Kim Jin Ho, Davichi, Eric Nam, Roy Kim, and TO1. It is presumed that they will be moved to another label.
CJ ENM’s sub-labels include AOMG, H1GHR Music, MMO Entertainment, Swing Entertainment, and Off The Record Entertainment.
