Watch: Lee Je Hoon, Esom, Pyo Ye Jin, And More Have Fun With Props Like Fake Elevators And Cash In "Taxi Driver"

SBS has shared a behind-the-scenes video from the drama “Taxi Driver”!

“Taxi Driver” is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge on behalf of clients who cannot get justice from the law. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works for the service, while Esom co-stars as Kang Ha Na, a prosecutor who becomes suspicious of his activities.

The video covers episodes 5-6 of “Taxi Driver,” when Kim Do Gi infiltrates a top webhard company called U Data. The video begins with Lee Je Hoon, Esom, and Lee Yoo Joon filming a scene at the hospital, where their characters meet with a victim of assault from their higher-ups at U Data. Lee Je Hoon jokes with an actor on set, quipping, “You should act even more sick.”

While preparing to film an elevator scene, Lee Yoo Joon asks Esom, “Is the elevator real?” She says it is, but the two actors end up having to open and close the doors by hand. However, both actors are laser focused on the dramatic scene by the victim’s hospital bed.

Esom and Lee Je Hoon then film their surprise run-in in the lobby of U Data, with Kim Do Gi rebuffing Kang Ha Na’s offer to get lunch together. The two actors have to wait longer than expected for the director to say “cut,” and as soon as the scene is done, Esom says, “I was torn whether I should continue or not.”

Next, Lee Je Hoon has fun filming the scene that depicts the unusual company culture at U Data, with manager Park Yang Jin (Baek Hyun Jin) promising to make his underlings rich and throwing money around while showing signs of unexpected violence. Although Kim Do Gi looks serious in the background, he quickly blends into his surroundings when another employee comes up to him recording a livestream.

The final scene in the video is in the basement where Rainbow Taxi operates. Pyo Ye Jin shows a lot of interest in the envelopes full of cash and is shocked when Bae Yoo Ram estimates the amount contained within to be five times more than she had expected. She then shows a playful interest in taking the envelope home with her.

Meanwhile, Bae Yoo Ram and Lee Je Hoon rehearse their characters’ scenes and Bae Yoo Ram playfully complains, “The scene won’t even show me getting hit.” Jang Hyuk Jin, on the other hand, shys away from the behind-the-scenes camera and the production staff tell him that his footage is definitely making it in.
