Lee Do Hyun Witnesses Go Min Si Standing Up To Thugs In 'Youth Of May'

KBS’s upcoming drama “Youth of May” shared a preview of the unusual first meeting between Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si’s characters.

“Youth of May” is a melodrama about the romance between Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si) set against the turbulent backdrop of May 1980, a historically significant time period in South Korea.

Lee Do Hyun plays Hwang Hee Tae, a medical student who returns to his hometown after a traumatic incident. Go Min Si plays Kim Myung Hee, who has been working as a nurse for the past three years.

The new stills show their first meeting at the office of the hospital director. Hwang Hee Tae looks shocked at the situation unfolding in front of him, while Kim Myung Hee stays calm despite a thug grabbing her by the collar. Despite being smaller than her assaulter, Kim Myung Hee shows her charisma as she easily twists his arm and shakes him off as Hwang Hee Tae looks on, even more surprised by this turn of events.

“Youth of May” premieres on May 3 and will be available on Viki.
