Kim Yoo Jung And Byun Woo Seok In Talks To Lead New Romance Film
Kim Yoo Jung and Byun Woo Seok may be meeting for a new project!
On May 4, industry representatives reported that the actors have been cast in the Netflix Original film “20th Century Girl” (literal title).
In response to the reports, Kim Yoo Jung’s agency Awesome ENT clarified, “It is true that she received an offer to play the female lead in the Netflix Original ’20th Century Girl,’ but her appearance [in the film] has not been confirmed. It is currently being reviewed.” Byun Woo Seok’s agency VARO Entertainment similarly commented, “Although it has not been confirmed, he is positively reviewing the casting offer.”
“20th Century Girl” is a romance film going back and forth between 1999 and the present. It will be directed by Bang Woo Ri, who has been recognized for her short films such as “It’s a visiting day” and “The Cover Letter.” “20th Century Girl” will be the director’s first full-length commercial film.
The film is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of the year. If they accept the offers, Kim Yoo Jung will begin filming after completing filming for her historical drama “Red Sky,” while Byun Woo Seok will begin filming after his historical drama “Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms” (literal title).
