Kim Go Eun Makes Meaningful Donation In Honor Of Children's Day
Kim Go Eun has made a heartwarming donation to help children in need.
May 5 marks Children’s Day in Korea, and to celebrate that special day, Kim Go Eun donated 50 million won (approximately $44,483) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital. Her generous donation will be used to support low-income children and adolescents who have difficulty receiving treatment due to financial reasons.
Kim Go Eun, who deeply sympathized with the pain of sick children and their families, said she wanted to directly help them. The actress commented, “I wish these children can go to school and meet their friends as soon as possible. I hope my small donation will be of some help, and I want to continue to give material and emotional support to them.”
Kim Go Eun will be starring in a new drama adaptation of a popular webtoon titled “Yumi’s Cells” (literal translation). It will tell the story of an ordinary office worker named Yumi – from the point of view of the many brain cells in her head controlling her every thought, feeling, and action.
