BTS To Premiere "Butter" At 2021 Billboard Music Awards

BTS will be performing their new single “Butter” for the first time on television at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards!

On May 11 local time, BTS officially announced that they would be staging their debut performance of their upcoming English-language single “Butter” at the Billboard Music Awards later this month.

BTS is currently in the running for four different awards at the upcoming ceremony—marking the most nominations they’ve ever received in a single year for a Billboard Music Awards show. BTS is nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Social Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Selling Song (for their 2020 hit “Dynamite“).

Following the release of “Butter” on May 21 at 1 p.m. KST, BTS’s first televised performance of the song will air during the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23 at 8 p.m. ET.
