Watch: "Kingdom" Reveals Current Rankings For Entire Show Thus Far + Kicks Off Collab Battle With Epic Performances
Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” has entered its third round of competition!
On May 13, “Kingdom” revealed its combined rankings for the entire competition thus far—and kicked off Round 3 with the first performances of its highly-anticipated collaboration battle.
Unlike the first two rounds, Round 3 of the idol competition show is divided into two parts. For the first part of the round, the six competing groups split up into two teams of three groups each for rap, dance, and vocal unit collaboration performances.
ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and BTOB formed one team, while THE BOYZ, SF9, and iKON formed the other—and the two teams faced off in unit performances that featured each team’s vocalists, rappers, and dancers collaborating with each other as intergroup units. (In the second part of the round, the idols will return to their respective groups to compete with one another as usual.)
Unlike previous rounds of “Kingdom,” there were no evaluations by a panel of experts, and the six competing groups did not cast votes. Instead, the show brought in a special audience of 33 “evaluators” that included Super Junior’s Donghae and Shindong, choreographer Lia Kim, music producer Shinsadong Tiger, music producing team MonoTree, music critic Kim Young Dae, music video director Jang Dong Joo, and idol groups Weeekly, BDC, MIRAE, and TRI.BE.
For the rap unit battle, THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo, SF9’s Hwiyoung, and iKON’s Bobby went up against ATEEZ’s Hongjoong, BTOB’s Minhyuk, and Stray Kids’ Changbin, Han, and Bang Chan.
Meanwhile, in the dance unit battle, THE BOYZ’s Juyeon, SF9’s Taeyang, and iKON’s Donghyuk faced off against Stray Kids’ Felix, Lee Know, and I.N; ATEEZ’s San, Wooyoung, Seonghwa, Yeosang, and Yunho; and BTOB’s Peniel, who covered EXO’s “Wolf.”

Spoilers
In the rap unit battle, the “Mayfly” team (ATEEZ, Stray Kids, BTOB) beat the “It’s One” team (THE BOYZ, SF9, and iKON). The results of the dance unit battle will be revealed next week.
As previously announced, the “Kingdom” contestants will be awarded points over the course of the competition based on the following criteria: votes by the six competing groups (25 percent), evaluations by a panel of 30 experts (25 percent), domestic and global fan votes (40 percent), and video view count (10 percent).
Up until now, “Kingdom” had only ever revealed the groups’ rankings in these separate categories without combining them. However, at the end of the latest episode, “Kingdom” finally announced the final results for its first two rounds of competition, as well as the groups’ cumulative scores to date.
Here are the current combined rankings for Round 1 and Round 2 (the entire competition thus far):
- Stray Kids
- ATEEZ
- BTOB
- iKON
- THE BOYZ
- SF9
