MAMAMOO is back with their 11th mini album “WAW” and a music video for the title track “Where Are We Now”!

As the title suggests, the song asks the question, “Where are we now?” while we stand in an unknown place without coordinates. MAMAMOO’s voices sound like sighs as they sing on top of the flowing piano melody and ponder questions about life. The calm yet strong vocals and delicate string sounds arouse deep emotions in the listener.

MAMAMOO has dropped a spoiler film for their comeback with “WAW”!

The video shows a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of the album and the jacket and music video shoot as the members talk about their upcoming album.

Solar says, “‘Where Are We’ contains the stories of the MAMAMOO members over the past seven years, but it also contains stories about life that anyone can relate to.” She adds, “We went through a lot of joys and hardships in the past seven years, and we tried to show that in the music video.”

Wheein says, “MAMAMOO has rarely released a ballad as a title track, so I think that’s something special. It feels like we can show the vibe that we’ve grown over the past seven years.” Hwasa adds, “I felt very calm when I first heard it. It’s not a tearjerking or deeply moving song, but one that you can calmly immerse yourself in.”

Moonbyul says, “We raced ahead for so long that I think there were advantages and disadvantages to taking a rest. It was good to recharge our energy while we rested, but since it was so sudden, we also felt anxious to do something again and meet our fans.”
