Lee Do Hyun And Go Min Si's Relationship Grows Turbulent In 'Youth Of May'

KBS 2TV’s “Youth of May” has revealed stills of an emotional scene between Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si from the upcoming episode!

“Youth of May” is a romance drama about the fateful meeting of medical student Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and nurse Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si), who fall in love amidst the whirlwind of events that take place in May 1980—a historically significant time period in South Korea.

Spoilers

In the previous episode, Kim Myung Hee grew even closer to Hwang Hee Tae after embracing his past trauma. However, Kim Myung Hee left viewers burning with curiosity when she asked him to get engaged to her friend Lee Soo Ryun (Geum Sae Rok).

Amidst this turn of events, the newly released stills show Hwang Hee Tae and Kim Myung Hee in an emotionally charged moment on the brink of an argument. The usually bright and cheerful Hwang Hee Tae now works to suppress his rising anger in front of Kim Myung Hee, emitting a frigid aura.

In contrast, Kim Myung Hee fixes Hwang Hee Tae with a blunt expression. Although her face is blank and hard to read, the hint of tears in her eyes draws sympathy. Viewers are waiting eagerly to find out the reason behind the twist in their relationship.

The drama’s producers commented, “Hwang Hee Tae and Kim Myung Hee will pour out their feelings for the first time. Look forward to the romance between the two people who face the fate that they have been avoiding.”

The next episode of “Youth of May” airs on May 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
