Watch: Jang Ki Yong And Hyeri Talk About Living Habits, Roommate Preferences, And More

The magazine 1st Look shared a fun interview with Jang Ki Yong and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri after their recent photo shoot.

Jang Ki Yong and Hyeri are starring together in the upcoming tvN drama “My Roommate Is Gumiho,” a romantic comedy about a 22-year-old college student who starts living with a 999-year-old male gumiho after she accidentally swallows the marble that he needed to become human.

In the interview, the two actors talk about their real living habits and roommate preferences in keeping with the “housemates” concept of the photo shoot. Each person would hold up an “O” if they could put up with the habit and an “X” if they could not. Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong agreed that roommates should speak up about issues instead of holding it in, but they disagreed on how dishes should be done. Jang Ki Yong said that they should be done right after a meal, while Hyeri said that it was up to personal preference. “That’s how a week goes by,” Jang Ki Yong pointed out.

Hyeri was asked about her time living in a dorm with the other Girl’s Day members. She said, “We’re all chatterboxes, so when we came home, we’d gather in the living room and order food and talk and talk. I think that we matched well in that respect. There wasn’t really anything that we clashed over. I’m the type who can’t sleep when there’s noise, so there was that.”

Other habits included sharing shampoo and conditioner (both agreed that it was fine) and listening to the same song for an hour. Hyeri disagreed on this, but Jang Ki Yong said it was possible for a good song and that loud music could be a source of stress relief. Both agreed they liked to order food, but Hyeri said that it could be bad for one’s health to order in all the time.
