“Youth of May” has unveiled new stills ahead of the upcoming episode!
The KBS romance drama is about medical student Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and nurse Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si), who fall in love amidst the whirlwind of events that take place in May 1980—a historically significant time period in South Korea.
Spoilers
In the previous episode, Hwang Hee Tae had an engagement ceremony with Kim Myung Hee’s friend Lee Soo Ryun (Geum Sae Rok) for their arranged marriage. Following the ceremony, Myung Hee tearfully confessed to Hee Tae when he asked if she is okay. Hee Tae took her hand, and they ran away together under the night sky.
In the preview stills of episode 6, they visit an amusement park with Myung Hee’s younger brother Myung Soo (Jo Yi Hyun) and Hee Tae’s younger brother Jung Tae (Choi Seung Hoon). While Myung Hee enjoys a ride with their brothers, Hee Tae does not look happy as he waits with several bags, drawing curiosity for what upsets him.
Contrasting from her sadness in the previous episode, Myung Hee appears at ease as she smiles comfortably. Hee Tae and Myung Hee will also take on the thrill of a secretive date as they attempt physical contact while their siblings aren’t watching.
The “Youth of May” production team commented, “Hee Tae and Myung Hae, who have realized each other’s feelings, will officially begin approaching each other in episode 6. Please look forward to their story as they find out what they didn’t know before through the outing with their younger siblings.”
Episode 6 of “Youth of May” will air on May 18 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
