Jung Gun Joo Turns Into A Sweet And Warm Photographer For Upcoming Drama With Jung So Min And Kim Ji Suk
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Monthly House” (literal translation) shared a sneak peek at Jung Gun Joo’s character!
“Monthly House” stars Jung So Min as Na Young Won, a woman who believes houses are for “living,” and Kim Ji Suk as Yoo Ja Sung, a man who believes houses are for “buying.” (In Korean, “live” and “buy” can be worded the same way.)
Jung Gun Joo has been cast in the role of Shin Kyum, a sweet photographer who works for a lifestyle magazine about the monthly rental lifestyle. He lives by the motto “you only live once,” and thinks of “home” as wherever he happens to be at the moment. He had no worries until he met Na Young Won and enters into a love triangle with Yoo Ja Sung.
In the newly released stills, Shin Kyum sports naturally unkempt hair and wears comfortable and practical sweatshirts. With his gentle smile and friendly personality, he resembles an adorable puppy. However, when he’s working, his gaze sharpens, and his expression is nothing but serious as he dives into professional mode.
The production crew shared, “Shin Kyum’s bright energy and the beautiful youth Jung Gun Joo came together to create a fresh synergy. The chemistry he will create with Jung So Min and Kim Ji Suk will be beyond your imagination. The free spirit and photographer Shin Kyum is expected to capture the hearts of viewers with his unique personality and charms.”
“Monthly House” premieres on June 16 at 9 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
