TWICE's Sana And Dahyun Talk About Their Chemistry, Missing Their Fans, And More
In a recent interview and pictorial for @star1 magazine, TWICE’s Sana and Dahyun dished on their signature “sparkling soda chemistry” and more!
After posing for their pictorial in a variety of colorful, summery looks, Sana and Dahyun sat down for a post-shoot interview to answer some questions.
When asked whether their personalities went well together in real life, they enthusiastically replied, “We’re both very fun-loving spirits, so I think we have especially good chemistry. When we’re together, our energies go up, we joke around a lot, and we have a lot of fun.”
Sana, who has been dubbed “Kim Sana” by fans for her impressive Korean language skills, penned lyrics—in Korean—for TWICE’s B-side “Do What We Like” last year.
“I was taking a bath when inspiration suddenly hit me,” recalled Sana, “and that’s how I ended up writing the lyrics for that song.”
Dahyun also talked about her famous knack for being able to spot cameras quickly and precisely.
“I’m serious when it comes to [finding] the camera,” she playfully remarked. “I don’t have any particular secret trick, but I get the feeling that someone is filming me. Once, there was a time when I even spotted a camera on the ceiling during rehearsal.”
Finally, the two TWICE members shared that they deeply miss being able to see their fans in person.
“Every time we stand on stage at a music show and there’s no audience, we feel so empty because our fans aren’t there with us,” said the idols. “We hope that the day when we can perform for our fans face-to-face will come as soon as possible.”
