May Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from April 23 to May 23.
BTS topped the list for May with a brand reputation index of 12,309,891. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Butter,” “Billboard,” and “ARMY,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “surpass,” “release,” and “release.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 70.36 percent positive reactions.
Brave Girls took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,894,908, while BLACKPINK came in third with a total score of 3,447,439 for May.
