Lee Kwang Soo's Mother Shows Warm Support For His Last 'Running Man' Recording Today

Lee Kwang Soo is filming his final episode of SBS’s “Running Man.”

On May 24, a source from “Running Man” shared, “Today, Lee Kwang Soo is participating in his last recording.” They also revealed that a replacement member had yet to be discussed and that the show would be carried out without any changes in the number of members for the time being.

Previously on April 27, Lee Kwang Soo’s agency announced that he would be stepping down from “Running Man” in order to focus on taking care of his physical and mental health due to his injury from an accident last year. SBS had also released a statement sharing, “We are unfortunately faced with a beautiful goodbye, but we ask the viewers to show warm support and encouragement to Lee Kwang Soo and the members who made a difficult decision.”

In order to celebrate Lee Kwang Soo’s hard work on the show, his mother showed support for him by ordering custom-made balloons. The text on the balloons read, “Great work, son!” and “Thank you for being with us for 11 years. We also cheer for your life ahead.” The company expressed how touching the gift is, sharing, “With this one phrase, we can feel the mother’s heart.”

Lee Kwang Soo has starred in “Running Man” for 11 years since its beginning in 2010. Recently, he was cast in a star-studded film starring Han Ji MinLee Dong WookKang Ha Neul, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, and more.
