NCT DREAM Soars Past 2 Million Album Sales With "Hot Sauce"
NCT DREAM surpassed 2 million album sales with their latest comeback!
On May 10, NCT DREAM released their first full album “Hot Sauce.” As of May 25, the album recorded 2,040,360 copies sold. After earning the title of “million seller” within the first week of sales, NCT DREAM snagged the title of “double million seller” after achieving over 2 million sales within 16 days of the album’s release.
This is new record for NCT DREAM, and they’ve sold around 300,000 copies more in addition to the 1.71 million copies they attained through stock pre-orders.
The album also topped domestic weekly albums charts for two consecutive weeks; domestic music streaming charts; iTunes Top Albums charts in 37 regions; Oricon’s weekly album chart, Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales chart, Line Music’s Weekly Album chart, and Rakuten Music’s weekly chart in Japan; and QQ Music’s, Kugou Music’s, and Kuwo Music’s Digital Albums Sales charts in China.
Although “Music Bank” was cancelled for the May 21 episode, it was later announced that NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce” came in first place, making it the group’s fifth music show win.
NCT DREAM will be appearing on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on May 27, KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” on May 28, MBC’s “Music Core” on May 29, and SBS’s “Inkigayo” on May 30.
