Oh My Girl's "Dun Dun Dance" Rises To No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, May Week 5

Oh My Girl’s “Dun Dun Dance” moved up one spot to take over as our new No. 1 song this week! After breaking through last year with “Nonstop,” Oh My Girl collects another chart topping hit. “Dun Dun Dance” has won on three music shows so far. Congratulations to Oh My Girl!

Moving up two spots to No. 2 is NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce.” Rounding out the top three is ITZY’s “In the morning,” which previously topped the chart for two weeks.

There are three new songs in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 5 is aespa’s first top 10 hit “Next Level.” A remake of the song from the “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw” soundtrack, aespa’s version is a hip hop dance track featuring groovy rapping and an energetic bass riff.

Debuting at No. 6 is Taemin’s “Advice,” the title track from his third mini album of the same name. It is an R&B song that provides a warning to people who are caught up in their prejudices and judge others as they want. Taemin’s sharp singing rap adds charm to the track.

Moving up four spots to No. 8 is LABOUM’s “Journey To Atlantis,” the title track from their fourth single album released back in 2016. It charted for two weeks back then, peaking at No. 31. Five years later, this song has regained popularity especially after it was featured on Yoo Jae Suk’s variety show “How Do You Play?”
