"Nevertheless" Actor Kim Min Gwi Tests Positive For COVID-19 + Other Actors Test Negative

Actor Kim Min Gwi has tested positive for COVID-19.

On May 31, a source from JTBC’s upcoming drama “Nevertheless” shared, “Actor Kim Min Gwi, who is part of ‘Nevertheless,’ previously went into self-isolation after coming in close contact with someone who had COVID-19 and recently tested positive for the virus. The cast and crew underwent testing, and they all tested negative for the virus. We are currently following the guidelines provided by the government, and filming will resume as scheduled.”

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Nevertheless” is a romance drama starring Han So Hee as Yoo Na Bi, a woman who doesn’t believe in love but still wants to date, and Song Kang as Park Jae Uhn, a man who doesn’t want to date but still wants to have flings.

Kim Min Gwi appeared in various works such as “L.U.C.A.: The Beginning” and “Kingdom: Ashin of the North.” In “Nevertheless,” he takes the role of Nam Gyu Hyun, Yoo Na Bi’s classmate who is popular because of his good looks and bright personality but is reserved when it comes to dating.

“Nevertheless” will premiere on June 19 at 11 p.m. KST.
