'Racket Boys' Premieres To Solid Ratings As 'Youth Of May' Sees Decrease + 'Doom At Your Service' Holds Steady

SBS’s new sports drama “Racket Boys” is off to a promising start!

“Racket Boys” is about a group of youths from a rural town who dream of playing badminton. According to Nielsen Korea, “Racket Boys” garnered impressive average nationwide ratings of 3.6 percent, 5.7 percent, and 5.2 percent for its premiere, beating out KBS’s “Youth of May” and tvN’s “Doom at Your Service” to have the highest Monday-Tuesday drama ratings across all time slots.

“Youth of May” recorded average nationwide ratings of 4.0 percent and 4.9 percent for episode 9, which is a decrease from their personal best of 5.7 percent last week.

“Doom at Your Service” scored average nationwide ratings of 3.3 percent with a peak of 3.9 percent, which is similar to last week’s ratings. Among viewers of ages 20 to 49, the drama achieved average nationwide ratings of 2.2 percent with a peak of 2.6 percent, and in the metropolitan areas, it earned average ratings of 3.7 percent with a peak of 4.9 percent.
