Hanbin From 'I-LAND' Leaves BELIFT LAB And Joins Yuehua Entertainment

Former “I-LAND” contestant Hanbin has departed from BELIFT LAB and signed a contract with Yuehua Entertainment.

On June 2, BELIFT LAB released the following statement to announce Hanbin’s departure.

Hello.
This is BELIFT LAB.

We would like to announce that Hanbin has departed BELIFT LAB to begin a new journey.

Our company has been discussing with Hanbin his dreams and goals for a considerable amount of time. After careful deliberation, Hanbin made the decision to begin forging a new future for himself.

We will always cherish the time we were able to share with Hanbin and will continue to cheer him on for his next journey.
We ask that you please keep showing him your interest and love.

Thank you.

Following the news, Yuehua Entertainment revealed, “We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Hanbin. We are very happy to welcome Hanbin, who has lots of potential, as a new member of our family. We will provide unsparing support so that Hanbin can grow into a good artist. Please show your support and love for Hanbin’s next steps as he prepares for a bright future in a new place.”

Mnet’s 2020 survival program “I-LAND” was the first project by BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between CJ ENM and HYBE. The seven finalists of the show debuted as ENHYPEN.

Recently, it was revealed that Kyungmin, another “I-LAND” contestant, had left HYBE Labels Japan due to differences in the direction being sought by the company and the trainee. Kyungmin was part of the HYBE LABELS JAPAN Global Debut Project with KNicholasEJ, and Ta-Ki.
