Jung So Min And Kim Ji Suk Talk About Reuniting After 8 Years For Upcoming Drama "Monthly Magazine Home"

Jung So Min and Kim Ji Suk dished on working together again for their new drama “Monthly Magazine Home”!

“Monthly Magazine Home” is an upcoming JTBC romance drama starring Jung So Min as Na Young Won, a woman who believes houses are for “living,” and Kim Ji Suk as Yoo Ja Sung, a man who believes house are for “buying.”

The bickering duo, who keep crossing paths with one another despite not being able to see eye-to-eye on anything, don’t get along at first—but they eventually start to see each other in a different light.

In newly released stills from the drama, Yoo Ja Sung gallantly protects Na Young Won from a falling bookshelf by blocking it with his body.

The upcoming drama isn’t Jung So Min and Kim Ji Suk’s first time working together: the two actors previously starred together in the 2013 KBS drama special “You Came to Me and Became a Star.”

Although it had been eight years since they last acted together, both stars reported that they were able to pick up right where they left off in terms of their romantic chemistry and teamwork.

Heaping praise on her co-star, Jung So Min remarked, “Kim Ji Suk is an actor for whom considerate of others and putting other people’s needs ahead of his own is a way of life. It’s engrained in his body. I was really impressed by how mature he always is. Even though it was our first time working together in a long while, I felt relaxed and comfortable.”

Meanwhile, Kim Ji Suk returned the love by sharing, “I was so happy to meet Jung So Min again through ‘Monthly Magazine Home.’ She’s such a natural and flexible actress that even when we film the same scene, it feels different every time. Because we’re already familiar with each other’s tendencies and acting style, even without talking about it, I always felt comfortable and had a lot of fun during filming.”

The producers of “Monthly Magazine Home” commented, “Because Young Won and Ja Sung aren’t your typical characters, they keep displaying an endless array of new charms. Even as they bicker, they can give off a sweet vibe, and they also make you burst out laughing in unpredictable ways.”

They went on, “Jung So Min and Kim Ji Suk boasted top-notch chemistry on the filming set. We hope that while watching them, viewers will receive their bright energy and also feel their hearts flutter. Please show a lot of interest in the upcoming first episode.”
