"The Penthouse 3" Premieres To Higher Ratings Than Seasons 1 & 2; "Imitation" Rises Slightly
SBS’s “The Penthouse 3” is off to a strong start!
On June 4, the smash hit drama “The Penthouse” returned for its highly-anticipated third and final season.
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of “The Penthouse 3” scored average nationwide ratings of 16.9 percent, 19.5 percent, and 19.1 percent for its three parts—making it the drama’s most-watched season premiere yet. “The Penthouse 3” was also the most-watched program of any kind to air on any channel on Friday.
Meanwhile, KBS’s idol drama “Imitation” saw a slight rise in viewership for its latest episode, returning to its modest all-time high of 1.1 percent.
Finally, JTBC’s remake of BBC’s “Undercover,” which has just two weeks left in its run, scored an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent for the night.
