Watch: "Running Man" Cast Prepare For An Emotional Farewell With Lee Kwang Soo In Next Week's Episode

SBS’s “Running Man” has released a preview for next week’s episode, which will be Lee Kwang Soo’s last before stepping down from the show.

The preview, which aired at the end of the June 6 episode, showed a brief clip of Ji Suk Jin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Kim Jong Kook carrying out their punishment from that episode. While washing dishes, Ji Suk Jin says, “This might be Lee Kwang Soo’s last punishment.” He makes the point that Lee Kwang Soo’s final episode might not have any punishments in store, so this could very well be the last punishment that he does on the show.

“It feels good,” Ji Suk Jin adds, “to do this last punishment with Kwang Soo.” (Kim Jong Kook interrupts with a complaint for him to stop talking like this.)

The preview then shows the scene from the very first episode of “Running Man,” which aired 11 years ago. The subtitles observe that at that time, Lee Kwang Soo was 25 years old (international age), and he is now in his mid-30s.

The video moves to an actual preview from next week’s episode, where the cast gets deeply emotional as Lee Kwang Soo reads a farewell letter aloud, the only part of which is heard in the preview is “I’m sorry.”

This episode of “Running Man” will air on June 13 at 5 p.m. KST.
