BLACKPINK’s "BOOMBAYAH" Becomes 1st K-Pop Debut MV To Reach 1.2 Billion Views
BLACKPINK has reached a new YouTube milestone!
The girl group’s “BOOMBAYAH” music video surpassed 1.2 billion views on YouTube at approximately 10:29 a.m. KST on June 8. This is about four years, nine months, 30 days, and 14 hours since its release on August 8, 2016 at 8 p.m. KST.
“BOOMBAYAH” is BLACKPINK’s third music video to hit 1.2 billion views following “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love.” It is also the first K-pop debut music video to reach this feat.
