Son Ho Jun Leaves YG Entertainment After 5 Years
Son Ho Jun has parted ways with YG Entertainment.
On June 10, YG Entertainment released the following statement to announce the news.
Hello. This is YG Entertainment.
First, we would like to express our gratitude to the fans who cherish and support actor Son Ho Jun.
We inform you that our exclusive contract with Son Ho Jung expires in late June. We will respect the decision that was made after long, careful discussions, and we have decided to support each other’s futures.
While he was signed exclusively with YG Entertainment since 2016, he promoted in various fields and was well-loved by the public as a likable actor by appearing in the dramas “Blow Breeze,” “Go Back Couple, “My Secret Terrius,” “Radiant,” and “Was It Love?”; the film “A Diamond in the Rough”; and the variety show “Coffee Friends” and “Three Meals A Day: Fishing Village.”
Though our management duties for the actor end here, we would like to thank Son Ho Jun for promoting well as an artist under YG for a long time. We will remember our memories together for a long time and hope that Son Ho Jun’s future is filled with blessings.
Please show warm attention and support for Son Ho Jun’s new beginning.
The same day, it was reported that Son Ho Jun is headed for Think Ent., but a source from the agency clarified, “We are discussing an exclusive contract with Son Ho Jun. It is not confirmed yet.”
Think Ent. houses artists Kim Ho Joong, Seo In Young, T-ara’s Soyeon, and more.
