"My Roommate Is A Gumiho" Sees Drop In Ratings As The Only Drama In Its Time Slot
It was a variety-show dominated night on June 10.
KBS’s “Sell Your Haunted House” and JTBC’s “Law School,” which previously aired in the Wednesday-Thursday evening time slot, had ended the night before on June 9. This left tvN’s “My Roommate Is a Gumiho” as the only drama currently airing around this time slot.
According to Nielsen Korea, the June 10 episode of “My Roommate Is a Gumiho” recorded average nationwide ratings of 3.688 percent, a drop from last episode’s 4.304 percent.
Instead, the “Hospital Playlist” camping special variety show had the highest ratings on tvN that night, with 4.192 percent. On TV Chosun, the popular music variety show “Love Call Center” recorded ratings of 12.294 and 11.492 percent, the highest among cable channels. SBS’s talk investigation show “Story of the Day the Tail Bit the Tail 2” (literal translation) also performed well with ratings of 4.8 and 5.8 percent.
The next dramas to premiere in this time slot are JTBC’s “Monthly Magazine Home” (June 16) and MBC’s “On the Verge of Insanity” (June 23).
