'My Roommate Is A Gumiho' Ratings Dip As 'Monthly Magazine Home' Premieres To Solid Start

JTBC’s new drama “Monthly Magazine Home” has entered the Wednesday-Thursday ratings fray!

“Monthly Magazine Home” is a new romance drama starring Jung So Min as Na Young Won, a woman who believes houses are for “living,” and Kim Ji Suk as Yoo Ja Sung, a man who believes house are for “buying.” The bickering duo, who can’t seem to see eye-to-eye on anything, initially gets off on the wrong foot—before they eventually start to see each other in a different light.

According to Nielsen Korea, the June 16 premiere of “Monthly Magazine Home” scored an average nationwide rating of 3.2 percent, falling short of the ratings achieved by the premiere of its predecessor “Law School” (the drama that previously occupied its time slot, which kicked off with an average of 5.1 percent and ended on 6.1 percent for its finale last week).

Meanwhile, tvN’s “My Roommate Is a Gumiho” scored an average nationwide rating of 3.2 percent for its latest episode. While the figure marked a slight drop from its previous episode last week, the drama still remained No. 1 in its time slot across all cable channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 2.3 percent nationwide.
