BTS's "Butter" Remains No. 1; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2021, June Week 3
BTS’ “Butter” repeats as our No. 1 song this week with a strong lead. “Butter” has accumulated 10 music show wins so far. Congratulations again to BTS!
Moving up one spot to No. 2 is aespa’s “Next Level.” Rounding out the top three is Oh My Girl’s former chart-topping hit “Dun Dun Dance,” down one spot to No. 3.
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week. Debuting at No. 4 is EXO’s “Don’t fight the feeling.” After a long hiatus, the group’s new release is a dance song with a refreshing rhythm, synth sounds, and heavy bass. The encouraging lyrics ask listeners to believe in themselves when they encounter difficult situations in life.
TWICE returns to the top 10 at their new song “Alcohol-Free,” the title track from their 10th mini album “Taste of Love.” Written by Park Jin Young, “Alcohol-Free” is a summer dance song that combines bossa nova with hip hop and is about being drunk on love, with the lyrics using names of wines and cocktails.
