Update: Lovelyz's Jisoo Diagnosed With COVID-19 + Other Members Test Negative

After Lovelyz’s Jisoo tested positive for COVID-19, Woollim Entertainment revealed, “The seven members besides Jisoo tested negative for COVID-19 at June 23. The members and related staff will follow the guidelines set by health authorities and enter self-quarantine until July 4. We will make the safety of our artists and staff our top priority and continue to take measures according to the requests and guidelines of health authorities.”

As Mijoo is appearing on tvN’s variety show “Sixth Sense 2,” a source from the program commented, “Mijoo tested negative for COVID-19, but she was classified as a close contact and will enter self-quarantine for two weeks. There are no plans to record ‘Sixth Sense 2’ during her period of self-quarantine.”

Mijoo was also scheduled to appear as a special DJ on SBS Power FM’s “Cultwo Show,” but her appearance was canceled.

Kei is acting in the musical “Midnight Sun” and was scheduled to take the stage on June 26 and July 3, but she will no longer be appearing on those dates.

Lovelyz has also canceled their video call event that was scheduled for June 27.

On June 23, Woollim Entertainment posted the following statement:

Hello.
This is Woollim Entertainment.

Lovelyz member Seo Jisoo was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the morning of June 22.

She received preemptive testing after being told on the afternoon of June 21 that a related staff member was diagnosed with COVID-19, and she was confirmed to have tested positive on the morning of June 22.

As a result, she has halted all activities, and the measures required by health authorities are being taken.

The Lovelyz members and all related staff members, who have been classified as those who came into close contact with Jisoo, were tested on the afternoon of June 22 and have entered self-quarantine.

With the safety of our artists and employees as the top priority, we will follow the requests and guidelines of health authorities as the test results are released.
