Kim Bo Ra And N.Flying's Kim Jae Hyun Confirmed For Upcoming Horror Film
Kim Bo Ra and N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun have been cast in an upcoming horror film!
“Oksu Station Ghost” (literal translation) is a horror film based on a 2011 webtoon of the same name. It follows the mysterious happenings that occur over and over again at Oksu Station.
Kim Jae Hyun will play Oksu Station public service worker Choi Woo Won, who is preparing for his civil service exam. After witnessing a shocking incident at his workplace, he recruits his friend Na Young (Kim Bo Ra) to help uncover the truth behind Oksu Station.
After debuting as a child actress, Kim Bo Ra has steadily showcased her acting talent in various roles over the past decade across both movies and dramas. Since starring in the hit 2018 drama “SKY Castle,” she’s appeared in “Touch,” “SF8,” and “Warning: Do Not Play.”
Since 2014, N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun has appeared in dramas like “Modern Farmer,” “All Kinds of Daughter-In-Laws,” and “Big Picture House.” He recently starred in the Japanese drama “On the Day You and the World End” (literal translation) and will be making his big screen debut with this upcoming film.
Through his agency, FNC Entertainment, Kim Jae Hyun commented, “To be honest, I can’t believe I’ve been cast in a movie. I enjoy trying new things and watching people achieve their dreams, it feels like I’m getting that opportunity after being cast in ‘Oksu Station Ghost’ so I’m happy. Through this opportunity, I will work hard to try something new and learn while adopting it as my own. Since it’s my first film, I’m very lacking, but I will prepare diligently and work hard so that my shortcomings can be seen as potential. I will work hard while filming so that rather than ‘Oksu Station Ghost’ remaining as a simple horror film, people can watch it enjoyably while forgetting all their hardships.”
“Oksu Station Ghost” will be directed by Jung Yong Gi of “The Doll Master,” “Once Upon a Time,” and the “Marrying the Mafia” series. The film is written by legendary Japanese horror film screenwriter Hiroshi Takahashi of “Ring.” “Oksu Station Ghost” began filming on June 20 and will premiere in 2022.
