Watch: Kim Min Seok Is A Smart Mechanic But A Fool In Love With Im Hyeon Joo In New Drama Teaser

Kim Min Seok and Im Hyeon Joo’s upcoming drama has released its first teaser!

Entitled “Starting Today, Engine ON” (literal title), the new Kakao TV drama is about the growth of an auto mechanic as he gets entangled in various incidents and meets a wide variety of people.

Kim Min Seok will star in the drama as the genius auto mechanic Cha Dae Hyun. He is extremely passionate and skilled when it comes to cars, but he is clumsy with love and is unable to express his feelings for his co-worker No Yu Hwa (Im Hyeon Joo). When a car coincidentally becomes a clue in a criminal investigation, Cha Dae Hyun unintentionally winds up joining the search.

Meanwhile, service center manager No Yu Hwa is neat, proper, and kind, but firm in her speech. When she notices that Cha Dae Hyun is unable to speak to her properly, she sternly responds, “What is it you want to say?” Although they appear to have quite opposite personalities, her boldness gives him courage as Cha Dae Hyun later tells her, “Whenever you look back on your memories, I think I’d like it if I were there too.”

The end of the clip shows the two gradually getting closer, leaving viewers wondering whether Dae Hyun will be able to tell Yu Hwa his true feelings and what lies in store for them moving forward.

“Starting Today, Engine ON” premieres on June 29 and will air every Tuesday at 8 p.m. KST through Kakao TV. Each of the four episodes will be around 20 minutes. Watch the full teaser below!
