WJSN's Bona Confirmed For Drama That Nam Joo Hyuk And Kim Tae Ri Are In Talks For
Bona has confirmed her next acting project!
On June 29, an industry representative reported that the WJSN member will be starring in the upcoming tvN drama “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” (working title).
In response to the report, her agency King Kong by Starship commented, “Bona is confirmed to star in ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One.'”
“Twenty-Five Twenty-One” takes place from 1998 to 2021. In 1998, in a world that seems on the brink of disaster, two people aged 22 and 18 meet for the first time, but end up hurting each other at age 23 and 19. At 24 and 20, they learn to trust each other, and at age 25 and 21, they start to fall in love.
It was revealed in March that Nam Joo Hyuk is in talks to play the male lead Baek Yi Jin, while Kim Tae Ri is in talks to play the female lead Na Hee Do.
Bona will play Go Yoo Rim, an athlete of the national fencing team. She has a cold personality but strong passion for fencing, and she aims to win an Olympic gold medal. Although rivals with Na Hee Do, they are not on bad terms.
After making her drama debut in “The Best Hit,” Bona continued her acting career with leading roles in “Girls’ Generation 1979,” “Your House Helper,” and “Homemade Love Story.”
“Twenty-Five Twenty-One” is written by Kwon Do Eun of “Search: WWW” and directed by Jung Ji Hyun of “Mr. Sunshine” and “The King: Eternal Monarch.” It is scheduled to premiere via tvN during the upcoming winter season.
While waiting, watch Bona in “Homemade Love Story”:
