Lee Kwang Soo In Talks To Star In New Drama

Lee Kwang Soo may be starring in an exciting new drama!

On June 29, King Kong by Starship confirmed, “Lee Kwang Soo is currently in talks to appear in the new drama ‘Murderer’s Shopping List’ [literal translation], and the outlook is favorable.”

Based on the novel of the same name by Kang Ji Young, “Murderer’s Shopping List” is a thriller about the various crimes and dangerous situations that can arise within an ordinary neighborhood, such as child abuse and stalking between neighbors.

Lee Kwang Soo has been offered the role of Ahn Dae Sung, a supermarket cashier with an extraordinarily detailed memory and strong powers of observation. He is also a character who is unable to run away in the face of injustice.

Should Lee Kwang Soo accept the role, it will mark his first drama since starring in “Live” three years ago, in 2018.

Meanwhile, the actor recently stepped down from his longtime variety show “Running Man.”
