Red Velvet's Wendy Shares Excitement After Being Confirmed As New DJ Of "Young Street"

It’s official: Red Velvet’s Wendy is the next DJ of the long-running radio show “Young Street”!

On July 1, SBS announced, “Wendy has been chosen as the DJ for SBS Power FM’s ‘Young Street,’ and she will be hosting the program starting on July 12.”

The producers of “Young Street” remarked, “Wendy will captivate listeners with her positive energy, which she has shown up until now through various variety shows and her promotions for her solo album, in addition to her charms as a ‘concept fairy’ who can adjust perfectly anywhere she goes.”

Meanwhile, Wendy expressed her excitement by commenting, “I’ve dreamed of becoming a radio DJ for a long time. I want to make 8 o’clock in the evening a time that is full of Wendy’s unique brand of positive and refreshing energy.”

Wendy, who previously appeared as a special DJ for three days back in May 2018, will be taking over “Young Street” starting on July 12 at 8 p.m. KST.
