Hanteo Chart Releases Mid-Year Rankings Of Artists Who Contributed Most To K-Pop In 2021
Hanteo Chart has released its Global K-Pop Report for the first half of 2021!
According to the new report, which was compiled using big data collected from January 1 to June 20, K-pop album sales are on the rise so far in 2021. By Hanteo Chart calculations, sales of physical K-pop albums rose by 34.25 percent in the first half of 2021 compared to the same time frame last year (2020).
Hanteo Chart also released its mid-year rankings of the top 50 artists who contributed most to the K-pop industry in the first half of 2021.
Artists were ranked based on the six following criteria: albums (album sales data, first-week sales data, realtime sales data from around the world, etc.), digital music (chart performance data, channel performance data, etc.), media/broadcast (music video data, radio/TV broadcast data), social media (social media channel data, activity, mentions, etc.), portal sites (search data, references, mentions, etc.), and global fandom (end-user authentication data, Whosfan activity data, etc.).
