NCT DREAM Achieves Highest 1st-Day Sales & 2nd Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Repackaged Album In Hanteo History

NCT DREAM has made Hanteo history with their latest album!

Last week, NCT DREAM made their highly-anticipated return on June 28 at 6 p.m. with “Hello Future,” the repackaged version of their first studio album “Hot Sauce.” 

According to Hanteo Chart, “Hello Future” sold an impressive total of 527,758 copies on June 28 alone, making it the first repackaged album in Hanteo history ever to surpass 500,000 sales on the first day of its release.

In addition to setting a new record for highest first-day sales, “Hello Future” has now also achieved the second-highest first-week sales of any repackaged album in Hanteo history.

On July 5, Hanteo Chart announced that “Hello Future” had sold a total of 681,316 copies in its first week. While the figure falls short of the incredible first-week sales achieved by “Hot Sauce,” which soared past 1 million sales in less than a week, it is remarkably high for a repackaged album. To date, the only repackaged album to sell more copies in its first week is BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer.”

NCT DREAM also recently topped Hanteo Chart’s mid-year rankings of the top 50 artists who contributed the most to K-pop in the first half of 2021.
