Shin Se Kyung Parts Ways With Agency After 19 Years + Signs With IU's Agency EDAM Entertainment

Shin Se Kyung has joined IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment!

On July 5, a source from EDAM Entertainment shared, “Shin Se Kyung has decided to sign an exclusive contract with EDAM Entertainment. After we wrap up discussions regarding the contract, we’ll release an official statement this afternoon.”

Recently, Shin Se Kyung parted ways with Namoo Actors, the agency she has been with for 19 years since her debut. On July 5, a source from Namoo Actors confirmed, “We have terminated the exclusive contract with Shin Se Kyung.”

Shin Se Kyung made her debut in 1998 through the poster for “Take Five,” a track from Seo Taiji and Boys’ fifth album. She captivated viewers with numerous hit dramas including “Tree With Deep Roots,” “Six Flying Dragons,” “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” and “Run On,” along with the films “Cinderella,” “Hindsight,” and “Tazza: The Hidden Card.”
