Watch: "Girls Planet 999" Reveals Premiere Date + Intriguing New Teaser

Mnet’s upcoming audition program “Girls Planet 999” has officially set its premiere date!

On July 6, Mnet announced its broadcast plans for its new survival show “Girls Planet 999,” which will be hosted by Yeo Jin Goo and feature Sunmi and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany as “K-Pop Masters.”

Starting from August 6, “Girls Planet 999” will air every Friday at 8:20 p.m. for a total of 12 weeks.

Mnet also announced that it would be revealing the faces of all 99 contestants on July 8—and that it will soon be releasing the contestants’ profiles and their first performance of the show’s theme song.

Additionally, the program shared a dreamy new teaser “welcoming” viewers to “Girls Planet” as its contestants prepare to step through a portal to a brand-new world.
