Brave Girls Tests Negative For COVID-19 + Announces End Of Comeback Promotions
Brave Girls confirmed that they have tested negative for COVID-19.
On July 7, Brave Entertainment stated, “Recently, an external staff member who participated in one of Brave Girls’ scheduled events tested positive for COVID-19. The Brave Girls members did not cross paths with the confirmed case, are not classified as close contacts, and were not requested to get tested by the authorities, but since the recent rise in COVID-19 cases is a serious matter, all of our artists and staff have decided to get preemptively tested. After the results are available, we will halt all promotions and enter a period of self-quarantine.”
On July 8, Brave Entertainment released another statement confirming that Brave Girls had tested negative. “After being preemptively tested, all the Brave Girls members received a negative result. However, being aware of the serious situation regarding COVID-19, and to protect our artists, we will end their comeback promotions regardless of the test results. There are some staff members who have not yet received their results, so the members are waiting at home. We had planned to promote the b-side track ‘Pool Party‘ after their title track, ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram,’ but that has fallen through. Thank you to all the fans who have expressed concern, and we will continue to do our best for our artists’ safety by following the public health authorities’ guidelines.”
