ATEEZ To Resume Scheduled Activities After Not Being Classified As Close Contacts
ATEEZ will be resuming activities and ending their voluntary self-quarantine period.
Earlier this week, KQ Entertainment shared that after an external staff member had tested positive for COVID-19, the ATEEZ members had gotten tested preemptively and entered self-quarantine just in case.
On July 8, KQ Entertainment released the following statement:
Hello, this is KQ Entertainment.
This is our statement on whether the ATEEZ members have been classified as close contacts of a confirmed COVID-19 case.
After hearing that an outsourced staff member had tested positive for COVID-19, all the ATEEZ members underwent PCR testing for COVID-19. On July 7, they all received negative results, but with possible contingencies in mind, the members continued their preemptive self-quarantine measures.
As of today (July 8), the epidemiological surveys regarding the confirmed case are complete. According to the disease control authorities, the members of ATEEZ are not classified as close contacts.
As a result, ATEEZ will resume their official activities, beginning with Yunho’s appearnace on the Channel A show “City Fisherman” tomorrow (July 9).
Thank you to ATINYs for their concern, and we will continue to do our best for our artists’ safety and health by following the disease control guidelines as our top priority.
