BTS's "DNA" Becomes Their 4th Single To Be Certified Silver In UK
BTS’s “DNA” has gone silver in the United Kingdom!
On July 9 local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that BTS’s 2017 title track “DNA” had received an official BRIT silver certification.
The song is now BTS’s fourth single to be certified silver in the United Kingdom, following “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey), “Dynamite,” and “MIC Drop.”
BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her”—the 2017 mini album on which “DNA” was first released—previously went silver in the United Kingdom back in May 2020. The group has also received BRIT silver certifications for their albums “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Face Yourself,” “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever,” and “You Never Walk Alone.”
According to the BPI’s certification thresholds, singles are certified silver at 200,000 units sold, while albums are certified silver at 60,000 units sold.
Congratulations to BTS!
