AKMU has revealed the lyrics for their upcoming track with IU, “Fall” (literal translation):
The lyrics read, “I told you that when a day like this came, I wouldn’t leave you alone. Look, it’s an absolute cliff. It might hurt more than we thought. If you take my hand, we can feel something greater than flying in the sky. Close your eyes and fall. Trust me and close your eyes and fall. Close your eyes and fall. Trust me and close your eyes and fall. Whether it’s a place burned to ashes, or hot coals, I told you that when a day like that came, I wouldn’t leave your side. Look, it’s an absolute cliff. It might hurt more than we thought. If you look into my eyes, you’ll feel like one of the stars in the night sky. On the count of three, jump and fall. One, two, three, hold your breath and fall. On the count of three, jump and fall. One, two, three, hold your breath and fall. Ooh, show how we love. Let’s show those who are ready to laugh at us that we can’t be ruined by anyone. Close your eyes and fall. Trust me and close your eyes and fall. On the count of three, jump and fall. One, two, three, hold your breath and fall.”

Updated July 20 KST:
AKMU has released the lyrics poster for their track “Battlefield” (literal title), a collaboration with veteran singer Lee Sun Hee.
The lyrics describe a battlefield scene in which smoke is spreading over the blue sky, bombs and gunfire are going off, and someone is running while covered in blood and dirt. But the song also speaks of surviving for the sake of love, love being more important than wealth, and supporting each other through difficult times. There is also a section that reads, “At that time, the sky was blue. At that time, the ocean was the beach. At that time, there was no one wearing masks. At that time, everything was a given,” hinting that the song might be about a more metaphorical battlefield. The chorus reads, “Hey kid, close your eyes. Even if it’s frustrating, stay patient. In this battle, once the ringing in your ears stops, the screaming begins.”
