Watch: Ryu Jun Yeol And Jeon Do Yeon's Upcoming JTBC Drama Unveils First Teaser
JTBC has released the first look at their upcoming 10th anniversary special drama “Lost.”
“Lost” is about the stories of average people who realize they haven’t become anything throughout their lives and try their best to see the spotlight. Jeon Do Yeon stars as Boo Jung, a ghostwriter in her 40s who feels lost and as if she hasn’t been able to amount to anything. Ryu Jun Yeol stars as Kang Jae, a man who runs a service where employees act out whatever roles clients request. Although he is striving to overcome poverty, he becomes afraid of himself out of the fear that he won’t be able to become anything.
Other cast members include Park Byung Eun, who plays Boo Jung’s husband Jung Soo, and Kim Hyo Jin, who plays Jung Soo’s first love. Park Ji Young plays Ah Ran, an actress who has a lot of secrets that are connected to Boo Jung, and Yang Dong Geun plays Woo Nam, an intensive care nurse at a convalescence hospital and a refreshing friend.
The first teaser features the cast of the drama reading the synopsis out loud. The shorter version of the teaser reads, “A drama is a place where you can walk someone else’s path for a brief moment before going back.” The longer version of the teaser reads:
If we were to divide human lives into “bright lives” and “dark lives,” which kind of life would people want to live most? Of course, we would all do our best to choose the path of the bright life. But “Lost” starts with the question, “What if I lived a life a little different from my original self?” It is about the stories of those who stand in the dark, not the light. We aim to tell the stories of the most ordinary lives, of the people who walk the dark path that would not be an easy choice for us to choose to step into.
