Yoo Jae Suk Officially Signs With Antenna

Yoo Jae Suk has joined Antenna!

On July 14, Antenna revealed that they had signed an exclusive contract with Yoo Jae Suk. The company commented, “As a national MC and national comedian, Yoo Jae Suk has always challenged himself to new things and broadened his boundaries with his earnest thoughts and passion about content. We will spare no effort to provide our full support so that he can continue to take on new challenges from within Antenna’s free and joyful atmosphere. Please show your unchanging love and support for Yoo Jae Suk.”

Yoo Jae Suk also shared his thoughts on joining the agency. “I am excited and happy to be joining my colleagues that I’ve known for a long time. Please look forward to the fun things we’ll be carrying out together.

Antenna is a company founded by musician Yoo Hee Yeol and currently houses artists including Jung Seung Hwan, Sam Kim, Jukjae, Kwon Jin Ah, Lee Jin Ah, Jung Jae Hyung, and more. Kakao Entertainment’s M Company recently acquired a portion of Antenna’s stocks, launching a partnership between the companies. This is the first time that an artist outside of the music industry has joined the company.

Antenna explained that the decision to recruit Yoo Jae Suk was heavily influenced by the mutual understanding from both sides about Antenna’s vision and philosophy to spread a positive influence on the entire industry by freely taking on challenges with talented artists. Yoo Jae Suk also shared that he discussed the company’s vision with CEO Yoo Hee Yeol who has built deep trust with him over a long period of time and decided to embark on a new start with Antenna because he agreed with the company’s liberal approach in which the artist’s talent and uniqueness is the core value.

With Yoo Jae Suk joining the company, Antenna will provide ways for its artists to actively participate in the planning process of new projects and expand into new areas. Antenna plans to reveal new content that creates synergy between music and variety shows.

Yoo Jae Suk debuted in 1991 as a comedian. He recently left FNC Entertainment, an agency he has been with for six years, and is currently hosting the variety shows “How Do You Play?” “Running Man,” “You Quiz on the Block,” and “The Sixth Sense 2.”
