Sunmi Confirmed To Be Preparing For Summer Comeback

Sunmi is returning with new music very soon!

On April 14, TenAsia reported that the singer will be releasing a new song in August. In response to the report, her agency Abyss Company commented, “Sunmi is preparing a new album and aiming for an August comeback. The exact schedule will be announced later on.”

If Sunmi returns in August as planned, this upcoming comeback will be her first since February, when she released her album “TAIL” with a title track of the same name.

Sunmi will be appearing in the Mnet survival program “Girls Planet 999” that stars female contestants from Korea, China, and Japan who all dream of debuting in an idol group despite having different languages and cultures. The growth of these girls as they head toward their goal will unfold in the imaginary world named “Girls Planet.” Yeo Jin Goo will host the show, while Sunmi and Tiffany are the “K-pop Masters.”
