Watch: BTS Talks About Spreading Happiness In Reaction Video For 'Permission To Dance' MV

BTS has released their reaction video to their latest MV, “Permission to Dance.”

The reaction was filmed before the music video was officially released, so the members are watching a version of the music video before the final edits were made. The members express surprise at the opening scene, which they had not known was being filmed separately, and connected the dots to the pancake scene in their previous music video, “Butter.”

RM shares his surprise at how bright his hair color turned out in the video, while Jungkook’s look is compared to the movie “The Good, the Bad, the Weird.” The members also half-teased, half-praised Jungkook for coming two hours earlier to film just one scene in the MV.

The MV for “Permission to Dance” features ordinary people dancing to the song. J-Hope said, “This music video is meaningful because there were ordinary people featured in it.” The members are all smiles and laughs when they see the shots of the other people dancing their heart out and at the end, Jungkook said, “It’s a healing experience.” Jimin and V explain that the end credits scene was filmed with their entire staff, including stylists, bodyguards, and managers.

Jimin said, “I think that this is our first music video that gives such a feeling of happiness. We’ve had music videos that were fun and interesting, but this makes you feel happy.” RM added, “We broke free of that prejudice that we don’t have other people appear in our music videos apart from ourselves.
