BTS's "Fake Love" Is Their 5th Single To Be Certified Silver In The United Kingdom
A week after “DNA” achieved the same feat, “Fake Love” also went silver in the United Kingdom.
On July 16 local time, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) announced that “Fake Love,” the title track from the album “Love Yourself: Tear,” had been certified silver.
According to the British Phonographic Industry’s standards, singles are certified silver at 200,000 units sold and albums are certified silver at 60,000 units sold.
“Fake Love” is BTS’s fifth single to be certified silver in the U.K., after “Boy With Luv,” “Dynamite,” “MIC Drop,” and “DNA.”
BTS has also received silver certifications in the U.K. for their albums “Love Yourself: Her,” “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” “Face Yourself,” “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever,” and “You Never Walk Alone.”

BTS is currently promoting the new track “Permission to Dance” from their new “Butter” CD, which recently became the best-selling album of 2021 on the Hanteo Chart in its first week of sales.
